Had a visit from a mate. All was going nicely until he showed me his new toys. The main one (for me at least) was his M1A1. I'd always told myself I wouldn't be getting a BB gun but, now I'm tolding myself I NEED a BB gun...specifically a battlefield finished M1A1. I'm not the worlds best shootist by any means but at between 10 and 25 yards I really couldn't miss anything I pointed it at! Also; it would look great on my WW2 display. Before I consult the bank; can anyone tell me the problems (if any) they've had with this model or anything I should be aware of regarding things going wrong.

I have had nothing wrong with mine Billy. I have even fully stripped it down and back again a few times to see how it works.  I love mine.  |

Since my first post I've had a bit of a mooch on the Interweb and all the reviews/comments etc seem great. It might be time to get my hand in my pocket yet again. Will this money spending madness never end!  |

Even before I read your post I thought I'd take a look at what Torro was offering regarding the M1A1. To say I was shocked/surprised/happy/thinking I've dreampt it?/talking to Paul at NatWest saying "don't be daft....of course it's a thing I need at The Ranch" etc etc.....flipping heck though...Has anyone got a M1A1 from Torro and had the stuff I dream of? I don't think I need to say much more. |

Unless of course I need to say much more in which case I won't because I love living where I do on my own as opposed to living in a building where there's even more nutters than live where I do....and I live on my own!!!!!!!!! I like porridge but there's a limit to how much I can actually like...

Just had a look at the ones on Toro. Real wood and full auto option! However, I think that full auto option as well as the Border Control may mean I'll be ordering from the UK but thanks for the info folks.

Don They seem to be doing exactly what they want when it comes to seizing legal guns, even when the police FEO got involved for CaptDAR, it still didn’t get resolved, in fact I think the pistol was destroyed. |

Thanks Andy. I almost ordered mine yesterday but I need to sell another pistol before I do. Won't be long now I think. I need something to deter the G-Men from my Still.  And the T-Men....and Revenuers too....searchin' for the place where I make my brew... to paraphrase George Jones, The Big Bopper and all the others that have sang 'White Lightning'.

I've seen a review on TheeTube (my computer is old) and the person said his only 'problem' with the M1A1 was the plastic stock etc. Just wondering; have any of you folks filled yours with expanding foam, cheese, lead or anything else to 'deaden' it?  |
