Does anyone know where to buy a spare valve or internal valve seals for the Umarex H&K MP5-K?
The one I am fixing is pi$$ing gas from either the front seal, the back seal, or both! 😭
I have drawn a blank so far, but maybe someone has been down this path before...

I may be wrong Mark, (hopefully!) but I think I recall Pete saying recently that spares for the UMAREX MP5 were non-existent.

It’s really utterly disgraceful that Umarex don’t produce off the shelf spares. I think they are fed up of me mentioning this fact on their social media.

I spoke to a man who used to be a main dealer for Umarex .....
He told me that he had visited the factories in taiwan where some of the umarex guns are made
he mentioned to the MD there that he had numerous Umarex guns in his workshop but was unable to repair them due to
lack of spare parts ..... Apparently the MD told him that his company had no problem supplying spares to umarex but they had never ordered any
if this is true then it seems that umarex dont want you to fix anything
They must just want you to buy another one
i feel that other replica gun manufacturers are the same .... try buying a spare part for a Crosman Remington 1875 !!!!!
one thing i have noticed .... i have managed to get EVERY spare part i have ever ordere for my airsoft replicas FROM TAIWAN

They need calling out on their environmental credentials, creating unrepairable waste. 🤬

Yes it is disgraceful. Umarex and the others deliberately don't want you to obtain spares, they want you to buy a new gun instead.

Mark, When I acquired the MP5 complete valves were still available online for about £25, that was a bpit a year ago. At the time, I didn`t bother as I had too many other projects on the go. If I find one I will advise. From past experience , there is a dealer in Croydon .... Surplus store , who can get spare from Umarex, but , as has been said, if Umarex don`t bother getting spares we are all stuffed. I have noticed of late that spare availibility is getting worse. good luck. Pet

A few years back ( in the good 'ole, pre-Brexit days!) I bought my one from VS in Germany for £99 + post! Wish that I'd taken more advantage of being able to get bargains from them when it was possible.....

Sorry, couldn't resist that... 😜 I think the only thing wrong with it is the front o-ring, £3-ish for a pack of 5 Viton ones from ebay. If that doesn't work, I will see if I can get some polyurethane ones, but I couldn't see any in the right size, so it will be direct from somewhere like Simply Bearings.

And finally it's fixed! It only needed a Viton o-ring, but to get to it is an utter barsteward. 🥵 Complete strip down. 😭 Anyway, now it is working (and a heap of fun it is too 😁) I found the open sights slightly less than user friendly, but there is no way to fit any sort of sight as either no rail was supplied with the original gun, or it has got misplaced somewhere down the line. Does anyone know where one could be obtained? It looks like this: Tried all the usual UK spares places, but as I don't know what the correct term is for it, all of my searching has so far drawn a blank. 😕 It isn't even my gun, but I would like to offer the owner some information about where a rail could be obtained so as to get the best out of it.
