Contacted the seller, they confirmed it was 100% compatible, then sent me an offer of £13 plus postage, result!

It is quite a bit more powerful than the MCX and MPX. The open sights are really good too but it ecells with a nice tactical scope or red dot.

And finally it's fixed! It only needed a Viton o-ring, but to get to it is an utter barsteward. 🥵 Complete strip down. 😭 Anyway, now it is working (and a heap of fun it is too 😁) I found the open sights slightly less than user friendly, but there is no way to fit any sort of sight as either no rail was supplied with the original gun, or it has got misplaced somewhere down the line. Does anyone know where one could be obtained? It looks like this: Tried all the usual UK spares places, but as I don't know what the correct term is for it, all of my searching has so far drawn a blank. 😕 It isn't even my gun, but I would like to offer the owner some information about where a rail could be obtained so as to get the best out of it.

All metal too.

BUGGER, BUGGER, BUGGER.
Tested the MP5-K in the week to check it held gas and still worked properly, took it around to Kim's to demonstrate and hand it over. Pulled the trigger and the last of the gas exhausted with a bit of a farting sound as the barrel/hammer bounced on the valve (I presume) fitted a new bulb, no leaks (yay!) but then pulled the trigger, and nothing but the click of the hammer. Gas is still in the bulb, but the fecking thing will not fire. 😭 I had to skulk away, very embarrassed, taking the poorly pinker with me. 😳
Before I get out the tools again, has anybody got any clues as to what might have happened?
