It looks like sparkling or pearlescent paint rather than being polished or brushed finish. Not sure what I was expecting for the price but a simple dull black finish I think would look better. Feels a bit like a big toy at the moment truth be told especially with the plastic grips and frame when handling.
I need to have a proper play with it though, it might grow on me. They shipped it with a CO2 loaded up, assuming to test before shipping. It has a very nice kick to it as you well know!

I’d strip it first as it’s dry.

I’d strip it first as it’s dry. Any tips on what needs doing? I usually just rely on drop of pellgun on tips of the caplets to be honest

I just field stripped mine and greased up the slide and hammer mechanism. I also put a Hard-Air capsule through it first.

Not going to get chance for more photo's and mini review this evening, I forgot that the mighty Man City were playing and now I've used up my man credits for today. Will post tomorrow after I finish my iPad testing.
It is growing on me though, quite a lot. Possibly because I've had a few Stella's but mainly because it's an absolute cannon!

Nice pic and how do you find it shooting? Not had the pleasure yet, we had a shed delivered which is temporarily being stored in the garage whilst we wait for the weather to improve to erect it. It's completely fcked up my indoor range. Next week the Mrs and kids are back at school so I will have the house to myself again in the day time. Then it's play time - think this may be where plastic BBs win out. I am happy to blast away in the house into a cushion filled cardboard box!

I just field stripped mine and greased up the slide and hammer mechanism. I also put a Hard-Air capsule through it first. FYI I field stripped it today and the insides were greasier than a roadside café so I didn't bother adding to it. Putting it back together was fun, I admit I had to resort to YouTube

I've done a full 180 on this pistol now, at first I had a touch of the buyers remorse but having shot it a few times now I am in love with it. I know there are not a lot of 6mm AS fans out there on the forum, but these things are perfect for shooting indoors. Today I had an Amazon delivery with the perfect sized box to stick a couple of cushions in and Sellotape up, whack a couple of targets on the side and run through a CO2 on the landing upstairs in the dry and warm! I've got 6m to shoot from up there and there is a vertical mirror at the far end wall which is easily removed, so if I do have a bad shot and hit the wall I can just cover it back up with the mirror - the perfect crime! Here are the targets I shot today, I wasn't aiming for accuracy just having a blast at lunch time This thing eats CO2 as CaptDAR has mentioned in his review, but the blowback is really powerful as are the shots. Every single shot from 6m penetrated the box so I didn't have to go BB searching at the end of the session. The blowback dies before the shots start to drop off too badly so you know when its time for a CO2 change. Because the BBs were easily retrievable from the inside of the box, I can reuse them all as well! I have this and a 6mm 1911 to play with indoors and they are both great additions to the collection. I also enjoy the BB speed loader that comes with the Desert Eagle, it makes reloading a doddle! If anyone is considering a 6mm I would say go for it, you will always have an option for shooting with decent accuracy and power when its pissing down or freezing cold outside

Yes the more powerful AS pistols are underrated by some. I was using both my 1911’s today. The DE is addictive. Got a few boxes to open up and retrieve the shot for reuse.

But I thought this forum was for replica airguns chaps?............................ Not airsoft skirmishing guns that fire plastic balls at people. (And couldn't rip through a BEAN can.)
