Anyone have any thoughts or experience of the non blowback Gletcher Tokarev?

Yes, I had one, found it excellent ...accurate and easy to shoot.

I have always fancied one too. Blowback or non blowback.

Wish I could get a blowback but they were discontinued years ago, Oleg of Russian military told me that. From memory.... The gletcher one had the blowback gubbins in the slide, but had no seal or vent hole in the valve, so could possibly be converted easily. But I was more than happy with the nbb version.

I'm surprised our resident Russian/soviet gun hater CaptDAR hasn't commented on these. He usually does on my posts with Soviet era airguns.

Yea Wild Bill, he's the "Cap" I was referring to. Last time I happened to post a pic of this, he wasn't shy about showing his dismay for it.....lol.

Sorry chaps must have missed your conversation 😂 I’ve heard that Putinski is importing plowshares now from wherever he can to keep his troops armed. Might be fake news ofcourse 😆

I don't think the same as him though..............so go and do some uphill gardening.

Your Russian pistol set goes together well Tuco, They were not really top on my list but since getting mine ive been pleasantly surprised at just how nice they actually are, especially the Tokarev and Nagant unfortunately the Umarex Makarov i have has developed a broken spring which means it only works in single action at the moment i will be fixing it soon but i think i will try to get blowback version possibly a Baikal ?

Gunman......Baikal actually makes an airpistol made alongside their real steel pistols, same factory. All steel (genuine steel) even using some authentic parts. From what I understand, hard to come by, find parts, extremely heavy trigger pull, expensive (over $4-500) for a BB gun. Still, if true authenticity is your thing, it's perhaps something to consider. Real steal looks and feel, at a real steel price however. Luvin that aged Nagant !

Various generations. Here is my last Baikal.
