Very nice WB. I just spotted 2 on EBay. 1 that looked quite beaten up had a "buy now" of $500, and another in better condition was starting at $1000. Too rich for my blood for what it actually is. Bloody hell, one can get an extremely nice real steel for that $$$........ð®

I assume Taiwan, I stand to be corrected though.

Wonder why the blowback Gletcher Tokarev was dropped. I would have thought blowback to be a big feature of the pistol.

Wish I could get a blowback but they were discontinued years ago, Oleg of Russian military told me that. From memory.... The gletcher one had the blowback gubbins in the slide, but had no seal or vent hole in the valve, so could possibly be converted easily. But I was more than happy with the nbb version. Not for me, but with a Dremmel and a bit of patience.....................

I watched that video a little while back, I was sceptical when I read the title but as I watched the video I was shocked by how he actually managed to do it.

Very interesting, shame it didn't seem to re-cock the hammer, maybe not quite enough travel?

Anyone tempted to convert their pistol? As I mentioned sometime ago, I am still thinking of one.

Yes, the Stechtkin is an handsome beast, in an agricultural sort of way. Again, no longer available in blowback.

Having wathed the video,as far as I can see it didn`t work. He is still pulling the hammer through in d/a, or am I missing something.
Pete.
