From memory, I don't think that he even ships to the UK (as he also makes the SAA grips too and it's been asked about before). Hand making a pair of wooden grips out of a good quality material is very time consuming and costly, trust me on this one I KNOW ! lol But there is a great video comparison of the Umarex M29 Vs the real steel S&W M29 on you tube, if you check out the grips on both you'd be very surprised at the quality of the Umarex copy in terms of shape, chequering and profile, let me see if I can find it..... Here it is, it's one of TBT's videos In truth, even if you go to the actual S&W website and take a look at the latest M29s you'll see that the replica grips are a pretty good facsimile of the RS grips and I know that they do have a plastic 'hollow' feel to them but a few guys on here (and else where) have padded them out with Plasticine, clay and suchlike to get a more solid quality feel to them. For the time it would take to make a basic set of good quality wooden grips and then factor in the chequering you'd be looking at a set of grips that would probably cost you just as much as the replica gun did in the first place ! Just google "S&W m29 wooden grips NEW" and take a look at the prices, they range anywhere from $250 all the way up to around the $400 price range and grips built for a replica gun are not any different than the RS versions as it's the same wood, the same chequering, the same manufacturing time needed etc., in fact the grips for replica pistols are harder to make than the RS versions as you have to compensate for the CO2 bulb fitting. Even if you take a basic gun like the 1911, the grip scale needs extra work done to them (when compared to a RS 1911 grip) to allow it to fit the CO2 powered gas magazine and that's just a basic grip, add in the factor of a removable side grip that allows a CO2 bulb to be popped into the grip space and you can start to see the extra work involved in a 'replica' grip set when compared to a real steel set. I'm not trying to be negative but just realistic about the cost of real wood grips for any gun (and that includes a replica), I don't think that it'll be something that I'll get around to doing again anytime soon, if I do it'll just be for my own guns.

Holsgriffschalen do import to the UK as i emailed them and enquired ... however that makes the grips even MORE expensive when you add the carriage costs.
I Have made a few sets of grips for some of my replicas but because they are so time consuming to make i havnt had the time to make any more ... plus the m29 grips would be a lot more challenging to make
which would take even more time ....

How much is the P&P for them buddy ? I suppose you'll get taxed on them too (20% VAT) by customs For some reason I thought that they didn't send to the UK, obviously wrong

Offhand I don’t remember but I’ll see if I can find out. Much appreciated! They are the grip screws from my Umarex Beretta FS92. I changed them out for stainless steel ones and then used them in my M29.
