Mark, I've been reliably informed by one of your friends I met recently that you are an exceptional engineer.
If anyone can fix it, you can and we're all lucky to be able to read about it here 👍🏻

Have you got it in another 'format'? 🤔

I would not entertain any of these replicas that use the plastic rotary magazines. They are prone to very early wear and cease to function. I have lost count of how many replicas I have had in my workshop with non functioning rotary plastic double ended magazines. UTTER CARP. Pete.

Gamo C15

As the C15 is a replica style airgun, I am not entirely sure if it belongs on the forum, but as it has many of the features of a real gun, I have been trying to work out what, if anything it bears any resemblance to. The nearest one I have seen so far is the PPQ, but it's not particularly close - the C15 has a hammer for starters...
Anybody got any thoughts?

The pistol itself is fine, it`s the magazines that are at fault. loose tolerances and small teeth that rotate the magazine lead to premature wear/ non-engagement of the rotation.

I've had a PX4 and a PT85, didn't have any issues during my time of ownership, but I wasn't giving either of them a great deal use. Mechanically the design is asking for trouble, but on the flipside, new magazines are only £10.

The nearest one I have seen so far is the PPQ, but it's not particularly close - the C15 has a hammer for starters... Anybody got any thoughts? I'm not particularly fond of Gamo airguns, their general lack of resemblance to any known RS gun makes calling them a 'replica' airgun a stretch at best and an outright lie most of the time. The most generous way I could use to describe them is; 'A generically non specific type of replica style airgun'. So unless I change the name of this forum from the RAF to GNSTOSAF ( generically non specific type of replica style airgun Forum) it/they will not be included into the remit for this forum as they align more with a general airgun than as a TRUE replica airgun. Even the problematic revolver-matics actually look like their RS counterparts (although their operation is all wrong different) and as such they can be classed as a replica ( lookalike). Unfortunately, if it doesn't look like a replica of a RS gun then it's just an airgun.

We would have to exclude the Wingun generic revolvers too, as they are only a replica style airgun. Just saying, like... Not sure I know exactly what ones you mean buddy.... I'm guessing that you mean the ASG 1st generation Dan Wesson revolvers/Umarex S25/S40 & S60 revolvers ? Well the DW 1st gen' 2½" (aka S25) is a replica of the S&W model-66 Combat revolver, The RS version.... and mine... The DW 1st gen' 6" & 8" (aka S60) is a replica of a Taurus Raging Bull, The real steel version..... and the replica version.... But the DW 1st gen' 4" (aka S40) is definitely the hybrid mongrel offspring of a S&W and a Colt Python, so yeah, you're right about the 4" not being a true replica but not so much with the rest of them though. Interestingly enough I DON'T own a 4" because it's NOT a replica of any real steel gun ! So banning them from this Replica Airgun Forum wouldn't actually bother me in the slightest. ( I am prepared to be contradicted on this topic if someone can show me an example of the RS counterpart of the DW 1st gen' 4" or the Umarex S40) Not trying to be overly harsh, just stating the rules for posting on this forum. Replica airguns are different from airguns, mostly in the fact that they are REPLICAS of REAL STEEL firearms, okay we can discuss the merits of these replicas in respect to looks, functionality, quality and realism but ultimately we are 'discussing' airguns that are at the very least replicas of a real gun.
