As long as the seal kit states it’s for Dw715 you should be ok. I would email or phone the dealer to make sure.

This is the problem, how do i make sure what seal is right or is this the right seal for when it came out? I know this is a older revolver serial starting with 15. There is absolute no customer support!! I have nothing to go by! i'm a little p&^%^ now....unbelievable! Have you got the DW715-6" pellet version ? Or is it the bb version ? If it's the pellet version with a 2015 serial number you've got a quite a rare beast there Greg ! As the 2015 pellet models have a fully rifled inner barrel which changed to a much shorter 2½" rifled section in 2016, that's a keeper if it is. That supplier WTF, charging you $19.36 for what is basically a letter ! They're definitely taking the piss with that price buddy

6" is BB/4.5 starts with 15 4" is Pellet starts with 16....i think the whole barrel is threaded, it looks to be. I just talked to the airsoft dude that had the repair kit. He can't do anything about that shipping it's canada post. He's cool though. What about that round seal, could it be a old style? I just noticed this place has that same kit www.camouflage.ca/asg-revolver-parts-kit-for-dw-715Out of stock though. I'm waiting on some speed loaders, and pellets from this place already! Now that's crazy.

Now that's crazy. If you're waiting for the ASG speedloaders you might want to look into getting some secondhand HKS 10A/10 speedloaders, these fit the shells and the guns perfectly, I've got a few and they're much better than using the ASG ones (imho).

I have heard of those speed loaders, how much are they around here? Ebay has them for 14cad plus 20cad for shipping. Amazon.ca have them for 28.00/pc lol I'll stick with the giant plastic for now. I'm not paying for anymore outrageous shipping costs. I noticed the speed loader that came with the 715 BB version, pellets shells fit, but don't line up into the cylinder. The other 2 I have coming I hope to god there not the BB ones.
Headhunter i noticed your front site, are they interchangeable? I like it! I touched mine up with some orange Testors paint. I noticed one of my holsters is rubbing on the paint.

As for the front sight, they're removable, I re-worked them and fitted the inserts myself. When I looked into getting official DW replacement sights they have a slightly different shape to the tab and as a result they lock in differently when compared to the ASG DW715 front sights. Certain members just use day-glow nail polish and add a dot to the rear of the sight for easier sight alignment and quicker target acquisition.

I don't have the BB version of either. Based on my observation BB and Pellet seal kits are the same. Gen 1 gasket looks like they are predominantly round. www.pullthetrigger.co.uk/Spare-Seals-Kit-For-CZ-STI-Duty-Dan-Wesson-RevolversGen 2 / 715 gasket has a flat edge to it. www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/dan-wesson-airsoft-replacement-parts-kit-for-dw-715-seals-o-rings-18754-19796-p.aspThey don't fit the same, I can assure you. I made the mistake once and had to trim a bit off to get it to fit. Thought it was a bit strange when HeadHunter pointed out to me that I had the wrong kit. All the other seals in the pack were correct. There is probably micrometre difference in thickness etc, which may not sound much but enough to give you a bit of friction / binding that you are getting. Hope you find someone who can post you a seal for a reasonable price soon. Like you were saying and I was thinking, seal is wrong. I would like something to go in the 6" BB, so I can jump inside and take a looksy at everything hehe, that's bad to say isn't it. I like working on PCP rifles, there pretty straight forward, seal can be a pain. Never a Co2 revolver, with a lot of small parts in one place. But your saying it's not hard? I emailed ASG tech.....his answer My 715 BB revolver has the wrong seal in where the cylinder is, it's round and my 715 4”pellet version is straight on one side? Can you confirm that it’s the wrong seal? I have a repair kit coming with the right seal. 715 6”BB - seal2 715 4” Pellet - seal1 Thanks Hello, That seal does look off, Have you checked if its seated correctly in the frame? Not sure if you have had the pistol apart yet. The only difference between the 4.5 and 6 mm versions are the bore in the seal for the nozzle. They should have the same shape and thickness everywhere else. Best Regards, Peter Rasch Technical & Logistics Operator ASG-US Tech Specialist

Today I took a look inside, like you said nothing flew out. I'm pretty confident to change things around. I also took the hammer cover off, to see what I had to deal with and it's pretty much nothing really to switch hammer springs. I had my fingers on the valve seal, it can almost come right off, I see what you mean you have to remove the valve to get to the rest of it. i wanted to bpost some more pics but won't let me. The only thing i didn't try to remove was the paw/ it's called that? safety bar. The thickness of that valve seal at the cylinder area is 0.124" or 3.17mm. I measured with calipers..

That wood have been a good time to fit the airsoft valve stem. Would have added about 80fps.

View AttachmentGreat! Looks like that grommet is the culprit then. Perhaps try refitting it correctly and see if it works better? There is a notch at one corner that correspond to the notch on the frame. Should be intuitive. If there isn't, or is difficult to fit, then the seal is wrong (typing from experience). Good luck!

You need a "special tool" to take the valve assembly apart. Make a note of which seal/bits on first/last. Some of these valve stem has 2 holes. Some has 3 holes. It is alleged that 3 holes one produce more power (by using more CO2 per shot). My 2016 pellet version came with a 3 hole valve stem.
