This gun has just moved further up my wanted list ! That case is absolutely a perfect fit for the gun. It's not until you see the gun in scale with a standard allen key that you truly realise just how small it is So, my wish list now reads; firstly, the S&W M29-6½" and then the sub compact Sig P365.

I have been pondering the claim by Sig on the real pistol that it holds 9+1 rounds, and wondering how this achieved. The only way I can think is to load the magazine with 9 rounds, insert into the pistol, rack the slide to put one in the chamber, eject the magazine and put one more in.
As it is a striker fired pistol it will be cocked with a live round in the chamber, and as the original version had no safety, and with no de-cocker or hammer, it just looks to me to be an accident waiting to happen.
Am I missing something about the operation of semi-automatic pistols?

Yeah that’s basically how the plus one on a magazine count works, a lot military using are taught to carry that way on operations

This pistol is superb, as I've already mentioned I am a massive fan. HeadHunter aluded to getting a sense of scale from one of my pics so I thought I would add to that with another pic! 1911 vs PPK vs P365

It strikes me that the P365 is everything the PPK should have been (in the replica sense), the full size drop free magazine is a big plus for me and the only reason that I've never owned a PPK, which is a gorgeous looking gun that's let down by just one factor; the damn stick magazine !
I F**king hate stick mags, almost as much as I hate ring magazines in revolver replicas. I just can't get past the magazines for both types, it just grates on me. I know they're cheaper to buy but I love the idea of CO2 and BBs all inside the magazine, drop the mag' out of the gun and you're safe to go, a much better system and far better replica realism, well it is to me anyway.

I would agree, I sold my only ring-mag and never looked back I only have the PPK due to an affliction with 007

Final update on this little boxing project. The 0.38 shells given to me by twodoctors have been re-shaped to approximate 9mm shells, with the caps being knocked out and the firing pin indent flattened. These shells have then been inserted into the the foam lid of the bb storage tray. I am finally happy with this little ensemble now.

Oh yes, that's another lovely box you've got there Mark ! Well done buddy You're getting to be quite the expert at this box malarky, what with the WWI styled mkVI box and now this very modern P-365 one. Very nice, very nice indeed....
