Looking at my magazine compared to James', it seems mine has a little more wear, deformation above the top of the bb. It looks marginal at most, but if it is causing the problem, or there is another reason, it's difficult to say.
I have been considering trimming a bit off the follower, but as it means dismantling the magazine, I want to be certain before I start cutting metal.

Trying it again this afternoon, I found that if I put some pressure on the slide release catch, it would allow the follower to move up enough to make it work. It didn't seem stiff, but I added a spot of oil to it and worked it a bit, then it seemed to operate every time. Glad I didn't resort to butchery too quickly, not this time at least!

More experiments, it just seems to jam with Blasters now, but steel and Smart Shot are okay. Another discovery, I found the bit of plastic from yesterday, it was jammed up the side of my nozzle!
Not a comfortable place to have something jammed...

Not a comfortable place to have something jammed... The blasters do seem a bit awkward in a few of my guns too, the smart shot seem to fire in everything but the ASG blasters are a bit larger and cause jams in some of my guns.

Mark, Sorry, I did honestly forget to mention that the last bb doesn`t always fire. I have too many guns, so did not remember that quirk. It never bothered me too much anyway, I just blasted away until it ceased to fire, then reloaded and off I went again. You forgot to mention to anyone wishing to buy one... my rearsight modification. Out of the box this one shot way off poi......low and left from memory. So I cut a slot in the rearsight ( very carefuly,as it is quite thin ) across the width, then drilled a hole through it ( side to side ) to accept an adjustable leaf that I had lying around. Once adjusted for poi it shouldn`t need any further adjustment. Mark, can you show the guys a cloe up of my rearsight mod. Pete.

I did a similar job on my Webley mkVI, although I wasn't lucky enough to have a spare leaf knocking about so I made a sight plate from scratch, with mine you have to tap it left or right for windage adjustment (much like the original I'm guessing).

OH NO! I can't show your modification Pete, I have already modified it! Not by much, I wanted the screw-head to be a bit shallower, so I turned it to about half its depth, took about a mm off the diameter and re-cut the slot. I oil-blued the end, which I hope will give it a bit of case-hardening too. Functionally it is identical to your original work. I have closed to opposite end off with Quick Steel epoxy filler, but I am not 100% happy with the result, I am thinking of turning a steel rod to the same diameter as the screw head, then parting off a thin disc to cover it up. Alternatively, I might dig out the filler and make a bung, which will probably be easier to do.

Here you go chaps... It certainly is pretty good for getting the POI right - hats off to you Pete! (But not THE hat, I wouldn't recognise you). I can only blame the shots outside of the black in the targets at the start of this thread on myself, sometimes I got so carried away I was unintentionally double tapping!

Probably slightly neater than my mod Mark, but then I am all about `function over form`. Either way, it was useless without my mod. Made a good pistol into a cracker..!!!! Glad you like it. I The pistol reminds me ( in a sideways looking way ) , of Charlene Tilton ....the petite blonde bombshell from Dallas ... i.e. a lot of fun in a small package. .Pete.

Aesthetically wise, is there no way of turning the sight adjustment screw into a grub screw ? Not picking holes, just curious...

The screw and blade are a 'pair' from a proper sight I would imagine and they have a very fine thread, so using a grub screw with a standard thread would not have been possible. To give you a sense of scale, the head is less than 4.5mm in diameter and just over 1mm thick, it really is a tiny pistol!
