I have noticed the same thing myself as I've got an odd few M29 cartridges that are larger than the standard Colt SAA cartridge shells and do 'bind' in the cylinder if used in the SAA. What do you mean by 'moonclip' buddy ? (I know what a moonclip is but didn't know that they were available for use with the M29 replica) The moonclip looking part what lifts the cartridges (1-10 on the manual's drawing). I do not know the proper name it . It’s just called the extractor. Moonclips are used in loading where the 6 shells are held in place.
