Oh well, if we're talking about mail ordering a gun that failed to meet expectations then I've got two words for you; Chiappa Rhino In the interests of full disclosure though, I've still got mine and still shoot it BUT the single action on it is embarrassingly bad, it should never have left the factory without some form of redesign being done to the internals. But as a collector first and a shooter second, it was never, ever going to be returned to the retailer. I have noticed though that the trigger is getting better over time, whether that's because it's wearing in with use or just that I've got so used to it now is hard to say, maybe a bit of both. But I am prepared to forgive the little foible with the SA action trigger because of it's stunning beauty and the fact that the DA trigger is very, very good. It's one of those rare guns that is very accurate and quick in DA, I don't regret buying it but just wish that they had lightened the SA trigger in line with what we've come to expect from a normal revolver.

I like the DE. Reminds me of a giraffe. Good for themed safari garden hunts. Is it metal or plastic Doug?
Regarding the Rhino: She’s fat, she’s chunky, she’s hard to fire and her top and tails don’t match yet I can’t help but smile when I see her pix! She’s unique and deserves lots of love!

I experienced some mild disappointment when my KWC Desert Eagle arrived - this finish was more of a sparkling paint job than a brushed metal which for some reason was what I was expecting. In hindsight I wished I'd gone for the black finish. It was however cheap, and it's great fun so it's stayed in the collection

It’s all metal, basically it’s a WE, but with the cybergun involvement it’s allowed to be fully licensed trades wise.

But I know how you feel when something isn’t quite right. I’ve just bought a matching black rifle scope for my Sig MCX as the scope I bought last weekend for it was a grey finish and was driving me nuts clashing with the black rifle So I do understand when the finish on something isn’t right. It’ll do your head in until it's sorted :/
Here's the clashing colours on the rifle:
I'll do an update with the black scope when I take some new pix

Maybe you can return it using the ‘item not as description in photo’ reason?

My absolute worst pistol is the Umarex combat tactical tacticool picatinny railed semi auto dohdar. I cant even remember what its called but its got a long name and it doesn’t make up for it looking rubbish due to its bland black slide. Due to disliking this pistol’s looks so much I tried to test it to destruction but it just wouldn’t give up and fail. I got through so many BBs and CO2 in this gun that eventually I admitted defeat before the thing got me into dept trying to beat it. I’ve got other Umarex 1911s which I love but this particular one really winds me up So much so that I’ve stripped it for parts for my other 1911s. Which are as equally robust, and far better looking.

They build a good pistol at Umarex, not pretty, but you couldn’t break it.

Ah yes the Rhino. I was an early adopter like Shaun, but as much as I liked the look and weight of the revolver, I couldn’t live with that SA trigger. If they bought out a Rhino 2 with that sorted I would buy another.

Come on now chaps this is the RIF-RAF section. Don’t pollute it with real firearms.
And my Rhino also ran off couple of days after I got it.
