What a great forum with great people!!! Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to do that Capt!
The only thing different I'm doing is not putting grease on the threads although I have just put some Pellgun oil on them but not put it in the rifle until I saw the rest of the video. I've seen it now and will go and have another try. I haven't got any Lupus grease. Should I only really use that or will another type of grease be ok?

Lupus Grease is just a PTFE Teflon gun grease which I have been using for many years. I use it on all of my pistols and rifles moving parts and inside barrels.

Great. Thanks David. My other sharp shootin' buddy has just told me he has some so I'll get that sorted and see how I get on. I'm now thinking 'lubrication' (or lack of it) may be problem as I'm doing exactly what your doing on your video. |

The strange thing is though Billy, is that I use the same procedure as David but I never use any grease on mine. |
