Here's trigger weight database of the guns that I have tested with an analogue trigger gauge. Hopefully you would have had handled one of these guns before, and can translate this data into trigger weight of guns you read or hear about on reviews.
Smith & Wesson 586/686: DA 7.25lb SA 4.0lb, smooth, short creep in SA.
Dan Wesson 715: DA >10.5lb SA 4.75lb. In DA a bit of resistance owning to friction between shells and rubber gasket. No issue in SA, almost no creep.
Dan Wesson 715 with lubrication and SA Trigger Job: DA 9.25lb SA 3.0lb
Ux SA-10: DA 8.25lb (progressively heavier then sudden snap. Likely to cause snatched trigger) SA 3.5lb, feels like a 2 stage trigger with a longish pull/creep. Once you have learned it it is very easy to shoot.
Ux SA-10 with lubrication: DA 6.25lb SA 2.75lb
Artemis CP400: DA >10.5lb Generally heavy...
Artemis CP400 (Reprofiled trigger shoe for leverage, polished parts and lubrication): DA 9.25lb but manageable.
Walther CP88 Comp: DA 7.0lb SA 6.0lb Fairly long pull for both, very smooth and constant pressure. Some creep in SA mode, but predictable.
Walther CP88 Comp Lubrication and SA Trigger Job: DA 6.0lb SA 4.5lb
Mauser M712 (KWC): SA 3.5lb Short pull with no creep
Ruger Mk 2 (KJW): DA 6.75lb Heavy but smooth fairly long pull
Umarex Colt Government 1911 A1 (Pellet): DA 10.0lb SA 3.0lb Nasty heavy DA trigger. Smooth SA trigger, with some creep. You can feel the 1st and 2nd stages with a small click in between stages.
Umarex Colt Government 1911 A1 (Pellet) with lubrication: DA 8.5lb SA 2.75lb It will become even smoother but you loose the distinction between 1st and 2nd stage.
Umarex Colt Government 1911 A1 (Pellet) SA trigger job: SA 2.0lb
Luger P08 (KWC): SA 3.0lb Short pull with no creep and no overtravel
Umarex Colt Python 6" (Polymer Version): DA 8.75lb, fairly smooth. SA 4.0lb, short snappy with minimal overtravel.
Tanfoglio Gold Custom: SA 3.0lb. Medium trigger pull length. Snappy. Unfortunately trigger reset only when back to neutral position (ie too long)
Webley MkVI Revolver: SA 3.5lb Medium length but smooth pull. DA 9.25lb, smooth pull. Initial pull is heavy, but from halfway, break point is 6lb.
Umarex Legend Cowboy Rifle: SA 3.0lb
Colt Single Action Army 7.5": SA 1.5lb
ASG Scholfield 6": SA 2.5lb
Umarex Desert Eagle: DA 8.0lb; SA 4.5lb long uptake.
For FAC holder:
Ruger 10/22 with Kidd 2-stage trigger: 0.75lb (at the lightest setting)
Browning Buckmark LBP (with "Gearbox" and "Victory" trigger): 1.5lb
GSG 1911: Standard 5.75lb (can be modded to 3.0lb!)
Alfa Revolver: DA 10.0lb SA 3.25lb (at the lightest setting)
