Obviously not literally! Not sure if other KWC M712 are the same, but mine is shooting very hight. In my other thread I've removed the hop up mechanism, and tighten up the barrel which definitely helped. However it is till shooting 2" high at 10m and 3" ish high at 15m. The main issue now is the iron sights. I can't use the elevation settings because it is already shooting high. And with the small v notch and relatively low front sight, it is extremely difficult to aim properly. When I can, it does give a fairly decent 1.5" group from 10m. So I need to raise the front sight. But how? I reckon I only need to raise it by 1mm to allow me to raise the rear sight for a better sight picture. Just a small bit of material to be glued on top of the font post. But what with? Here comes bodger! A rolled up electrical tape. Held on by another bit of electrical tape. 🤦🏻♂️ Looks good last night. The proof is in the pudding of course. I'll see if I have time to test it later today...

If that gets you into the right sort of area height-wise then at least you'll have a good idea of what height you need to build the foresight up by then. Might be an idea to use something like an acrylic putty (eg. black milliput etc.) for a more permanent solution, at least you can work it into the right shape as well.

Well did it work? Hell yeh! Still getting used to the sights, but at least it wasn't as much of a struggle to get another 94 from 5m weavers. Now at least I can use the "250 yards" elevation, which give me a much better sight picture. A more permanent solution is needed. Something that will work equally well but won't look too out of place... ...here comes McGuiver" Can you guess what it is made from? And the sight picture (via a camera). Looks different from shooting position but you get the drift. Have you worked out what it is yet? Yes, allen key! 1cm of it needed. Rounded off the cut edge and put that at the muzzle end. Superglued it. Seemed to work great. What's more? It doesn't look out of place at all (to me anyway)! Next task will be to correct the windage (shooting left this afternoon) and then I'll be ready for a 100/100 attempt. (and some grouping shots at 10 and 15m!). Wish me luck!

An update. Here's an attempt from 10m. 10s shots weaver. Ignore the ones outside the shoot'n'see stickers. They were sighting shots. Just 1 outside the stickers, the other 9 were all within a 2" group. That's pretty decent considering that it was still difficult to see the front sight because it's so small. I think if I can make the front post more visible, it would group a bit better. [edit] And the 5m Weaver. 15 shots. Some user error again (I'm blaming it on the small front sight, but you can see it can group fairly well). Where is my gold/silver paint pen...

Found my pen. Bought them a while ago. Didn't know why back then. Now I do! I shall have another attempt at grouping now that everything is in place...

Probably my last post on this. Ignore my 2 "sighters" , and you have a very tight grouping on a BB blowback gun. 10 shots, 5m, Weaver. Great pistol. If you can "fix" it, it's a very fun gun to shoot!
