Picked up a mint condition Nagant yesterday which shoots nicely. However, the very short length of barrel rankles with me. Any one converted to a full length, if so, how much of an improvement?

I've done a barrel replacement on my one, I converted a 4" S&W 686 internal barrel to fit mine which works extremely well. Still the loudest replica gun that I own and very accurate too right out to 10-12m, you'll never miss a tin can at that sort of range with it unless you close both eyes, lol.

I might ask our Mark about a full length barrel, not yet though as I believe that at the moment time is his enemy.

I've converted one to full length barrel, well, 2 to be exact. Considering the short thing it replaced was nearly as accurate when the crown was horrendous, ( the rifleing wasn't central to the barrel).
A little more accurate with a little more power and that's one that I've modded with, iirc,a 5" barrel as it also has 1/2"unf on the end for a silencer., posted on here...Suppressed Nagant Revolver.
One thing as far as accuracy is they're very sensitive to getting the barrel back in straight and they can be misaligned from the factory ( both mine were).
If you have one that shoots straight, I'd leave well alone
