I have a Sig X5 BB firer, and unfortunately after a bit of a jam up my nozzle return spring has got mashed.
Can anyone please tell me where I could possibly get a replacement? I've tried the usual places (chambers/knibbs/B&K). Or could someone please tell me the size of the spring so I can try and buy a generic compression spring from evilbay?

Ok, just in case there's any doubt at all Pete, (flatrajectory), is an absolute legend.
Not only did he look for the spring I was after, he found one, is willing to let me have it, is posting said spring to me, and won't take a single penny towards it.

He first came to the 'rescue' with me about 10 years ago over on the UBC forum, fettling the hop-up on an airsoft barrel for this confused newbie that didn't have a clue at the time. Well, blush away for once Pete, you deserve it and a bit of colour to the cheeks never hurts....or so my wife always maintains!
Although it may possibly add a slightly deeper shade to your 'blush,' a big part of the merit in what you do to try and help others, is that you never make a big song-and-dance about it or 'big yourself up.' There's a character on one of the other forums, who in the middle of one of his endless lectures on what he is currently doing/working on/thinking about, regularly 'treats' the casual reader, ad nauseum to soliloquies on what a 'wonderful fellow' he is and how he helps so many people out and never expects anything in return (except buckets of praise perhaps?).....and that's apart from knowing so much more than anyone else! Narcissism doesn't even come close.......
Anyway, rock on Pete and being able to access your knowledge and generosity of spirit, is a real bonus to this forum and long may it continue!

I always look forward to the Melbourne Airgun Fayres to meet up with fellow airgun enthusiasts, but Pete is the star trader with the best table. It might not be the biggest, but there are no silly prices, an interesting range of airguns and always a merry quip.
