Been considering a non blowback Luger for a while now. Like the idea of more shots per bulb, better reliability and higher velocity. Opinions welcome.

I know what you mean, they are very addictive.

Once you've fired the toggle top version there's no going back buddy, you have to experience the action to really appreciate the design of the gun. From just cocking the gun to firing it, that Luger toggle top action is so unique and to be honest, I haven't found that the gas recoil version to be unreliable in my experience, although the one that I got was broken to start with but I soon fixed that and never had another problem with it again. Okay you don't get many shots but it's exactly the same with the KWC 1911s, so much fun that you don't really worry about the shot count per CO2 bulb. As for the FPS performance, well mine was good enough for knocking tin cans around the garden

Know exactly what you mean. I have had two previously. Probably bad luck on my part but both developed a fault( toggle not returning fully to battery and a leak on the second one). I still appreciate thoughts for and against though.

I think both have their place.
The blowback is great in terms of realism and hard to beat but for an extended range session and a little more clout downrange, the NBB can't be beaten. It'll shred a tin to pieces in no time and I've had over 100 shots from 1 CO2 cartridge. Great thing also is it feeds without jamming with copper coated lead.

I should have added that there is room for both in my collection. I somehow ended up with two NBBs and sold the spare one at Kempton on Sunday.
I've never owned the Gletcher PO8 blowback and wonder how well they shoot if anyone has any experience of them?
