Some time back someone on here posted a photo of a stunning looking, gold cylinder Uberti Colt and I can't remember who it was! So a 'hands up' from the owner and another look at that lovely pistol would be appreciated. I was talking about this pistol to someone and as I'm not really au fait with western guns, couldn't recall the details when he was quizzing me!
Thanks in advance.....

No, Ricky.....'fraid it wasn't that one. It's going back a few months and it was an 'army' type model not the SAA style.

I think our friend guitarman is referring to a Colt 1872 Open Top revolver. That one there, nice as it is, is a copy of the Remington.Either the 1858 new model army or the model of 1863. Interesting to note Remington never actually made a brass framed version.

The search is on for that "gold cylinder Uberti Colt, Army type" that guitarman mentions. We'll have to go through all the back posts till we find it.

That Remington is surely an handsome tool. Is it a blank fire or a de-act?

Now if it had been an old Webley......

I've had a word with my solicitor about the distress this whole episode has caused me....I've been looking for something that may not have been there in the first place caused by your original post. He seems to think I may have a case. If I can claim Legal Aid , you may expect a letter from my solicitor
