I treated meself to a new Remington 1875 yesterday. I'd forgotton what a lovely revolver they are. Not shot it yet but, on close inspection, to my old, tired eyes there looks to be no difference between the BB and Pellet shells other than the markings. I haven't got a fancy gadget for measuring things but, they do look the same. At the risk of repeating a question that probably loads of people have already asked; can you put pellets in the BB shells with no harm etc?
Much thankings.

The orifice of the bb shell is ever so slightly tighter than the pellet version 😉 Youcan certainly use pellets in the bb shells and they will safely pass though but I found it better to use a smaller head and softer skirt like the 4.49 Meisterkugeln from RWS. The shell grommets are also slightly tighter.
And I still need one of these revolvers again in my life.
