So inmy workshop this week, I have another S&W M29 rendered scrap by overtightening of the co2 piercing screw . The frame is cracked right across in the exact same place as the previous one. Not surprising when you see the size of the Allen key used. It measure 4" by 3". Can anyone tell me if this is the allen key supplied by Umarex .?? if it is they need a word.!! another photo to follow. Pete.

There is no separate key supplied in the box. Like most Umarex revolvers the key is integral with the left grip.

You could torque a cylinder head up with that!

flatrajectory, whats the scrap value for something like this? I've been after a scrap piece for a while , mainly a CAA for a project. but it had to be a revolver. As long as it looks in one piece, it can have no internal working parts .ie valves etc.

Cheers, if it's really of no use to the customer, if you dont mind asking him/her if it's for sale , rather than it going in the bin. I would be interested if the price was right. thanks

Anyone that can save a revolver from going into the bin is a good guy in my book

Ricky, if the customer doesn`t want it back, it will go in my box of dead replicas for parts robbery. Sorry. Pete.
