Finally a nice day got the 629 out for a proper go with it. it disappointed with pellets at 10m but today with BB’s at about 6m not bad at all weaver stance, and a bit windy. Also was a dab hand a at slaying some coke cans 😂 before the wind got up here.

What kind of shells were you using as there is a difference between the pellet shells and the bb shells which might account for the 10m accuracy.

I have 2 629s in bb,5" and 6.5" and at 6 yds they are both dissapointingly accurate.
I say dissapointingly accurate because I prefer pellet guns and these 2 seem to be more accurate than most of my favourite multi shot pellet firers, more accurate than my RWS C225 6" comp with adjustable sights!
I bought them with the intention of converting them to full length rifled barrels, but now I'm thinking I don't want to loose the accuracy.

I only changed mine to rifled .177 as it was originally a 6mm.

Try different pellets in the gun, I've found that both of mine are very accurate using pellets but then again mine have had a fully rifled inner barrel swap.

Thanks David

Cheers Shaun, I'll have a play any idea what part number the pellet shells are? Failing that I'll have a chat with our friendly barrel maker.

Strange. My most accurate revolver is my Smith & Wesson Dirty Harry revolver with smooth barrel. It is the BB version but I have never used BB's. I use H&N exite Econ 2 pellets and RWS Hobby or similar pellets and it is very accurate ay my 6yd range.
