Hello all, I stumbled across this forum whilst searching for information on my latest purchase, an ASG Schofield (are they related to Barra in any way?) which is my first air pistol, I've wanted one for years and grabbed a brand new one at a good price. What a piece of kit, great fun! I've already got a rifled barrel for it on the way and am researching other upgrades for it.

Welcome to our corner of the internet. Barra’s are made by Wingun /ASG just without the grip logo.

Thanks, I guess all the parts are interchangeable then. I've a question about the ejectors, anyone know of any way to beef them up so that they actually eject the cartridges out of the cylinder? I considered putting a beefier spring in there but it seems the ejection mechanism relies on how fast the action is opened so not sure that'll work.

I think there is always going to be a slight problem with the ejection process. The original was designed to eject the empty cartridges whereas our Schofields are trying to eject a cartridge with the bullet still attached making it longer than an empty one. The airgun cartridges are almost certainly a lot heavier than a real empty cartridge as well. As CaptDAR has said gravity is your freind. Cheers Don

Yep, had another look and it's the cam that pushes the ejector up, cartridges do appear to be too long and heavy to eject unless you give it a violent flick.
