As far as I know, some differences from the co2 to the real Mak are
Slide lock lever
Trigger, co2 is cast, Real is machined/polished but I have a Gen 5 with a machined trigger
Hammer is cut away on the co2 but only half cut away on the Real but my Gen 4 is half cut
Safety is slightly different on the Real

Just a thought to ponder on, I bought my first Mak in 1999 from City Air Weapons in Solihull, it cost £25 new, the Nickel slide version was £30.
Put through an inflation calculator and that £25 Co2 pistol would cost £45 today.
I should have bought a dozen!
