OK, a quick hands up so to speak, I've always tested co2 guns at a very comfortable summer temp of around 24-25°and always allow it to get back to that temp every cylinder load. Just get that out the way as it may explain why my results always seem a bit higher than Ave.
Anyway I tested my .22 M29 5.6mm 5.75" rifled barrel when first modded and got the results with 5.5 14.6 gn Eley Wasps and got an Ave of around 320 fps.
Decided to try sizeing the pellets first and lube the barrel and carts with silicone spray lube ( works wonders on the old fashioned curtain tracks!)
Results; 1st Cylinder with 13.2gn 5.6 Wasps 369fps ave. 4.0 ft lbs Spread 399 to 351
2nd Cylinder 355fps Ave 3.7 ft lbs Spread 377 to 345
3rd cylinder 358fps Ave 3.8 ft lbs Spread 378 to 347
Switched to unsized 5.5 wasps 14.6gn 4th Cylinder 346fps Ave 3.9 ft lbs Spread 360 to 334
Chrony F1 checked with my trusty 360 fps SSP Nemesis
The 13.2 5.6mm Wasps have a thinner skirt and are an older non bar coded tin but sizing didn't seem to make much difference.

That is very impressive set of results! And with the MAN's calibre, I think I might be doing this conversion to mine in the near future...

Interesting, a .22 M29? Obviously you must have modified the cartridges as well since their are no .22 cal shells that fit at the moment.

That's bloody good performance results for a MAN'S CALIBRE conversion, even on a sunny warm day that's a great result for a .22 CO2 replica.

Carts drilled and reamed to 5.5mm and tried to drill out original seals but that didn't work so made ptfe seals for them, ptfe is harder but couldn't find another option although later found some 8mm od 6mm id silicone tubing and once that is squished into the cartridge the I.d. reduces to 5.5mm and holds the pellet perfectly

It wasn't something I was considering... I think I’ve heard Shaun reams a hole bigger.

It wasn't something I was considering... I think I’ve heard Shaun reams a hole bigger. The only holes I've ever reamed out are the 4.5mm ones, I've never attempted to enlarge them to .22 and anyway what are you going to use as a grommet to hold the pellet in situ ? Unless you are planning to use the grommets from a set of Webley .22 cartridge shells which could turn out to be either expensive or tiresome to swap out between the two cartridges when you want to use either gun (Webley/Colt SAA).

Going to try out Greg’s silicone tubing on a couple of Webley shells and see if it works.

I've stuck with ptfe as size wise it has to be spot on, too long and it's going to foul the cylinder and stop it turning, too short and you'll loose gas, Again, fine if you have a lathe, I just put them in the chuck and skimmed all of them to 15 thou proud of the shells.
I'll try to upload a couple of pics when I work out how
