I have 6 different old replica Brocock and Peitta wheel guns, for which I find I need some BAC cartridges. I understand that in the UK these guns were basically banned unless a person had an FAC. I am guessing that many of these old replicas were handed over to the authorities as the FAC process is such a bother.
My problem is that these pistols are legal here in Canada, but the only source for parts that I can find is in the UK, and they will not ship to either my Cdn address or my US address. It occurs to me that there may be some folks that turned over their ai pistols, but kept the cartridges. If that is the case, I would love to be able to purchase the cartridges if you can ship them to be across the pond.

Yes, I tried them several times and there checkout will not permit shipping to USA or Canada. Go figure, eh? |

Lets wait a few weeks; I have a friend that is over visiting family in the UK at the moment, and I am trying to get hold of his to see if he is willing to pick some up for me. He'll likely be better to mail them to me than try to get them in his luggage at the airport though!
Shipping them has its own problems, with our crazy customs officers here. There is a possibility that the cartridges would be confiscated by some over zealous officer, as being too close to the real thing, or some such nonsense.

To conclude this search, I managed to purchase sufficient quantity of BAC cartridges from a source in Germany. They cost a bloody fortune, but when you are the only game in town, I guess the stakes are high if you want in.
