One of my all time western heroes. Augustus Mccrae used one of these iconic revolvers. I would love a real heavy co2 version.

It would be great to see a CO2 powered replica of that gun, even something along the lines of a .50 cal BB version (like the HDR/T4E style of guns) where you had to effectively use the charging lever to seat a BB into the cylinder, that would definitely tick all my 'replica realism' boxes for me. They are such a huge gun, definitely a horse pistol or (if you prefer) a handheld field artillery piece, lol.
Maybe we should pray to the Gods and sacrifice a P-38 in some sort of ritualistic ceremony and hope that 2024 will be the year that we eventually see one released, I personally don't care if it's Umarex, ASG, Gletcher, Barra or even KWC that release it as long as we get it ! But in truth, I can't see them being popular on the skirmishing fields of the 6mm airsoft fraternity, so market forces being as they are, I can't see any of the big companies pushing through with the necessary R&D or even marketing one....unfortunately.
Mind you, apart from joining a Black Powder club and firing the real thing, the nearest we (you, me and everyone else) will ever get to one is a good quality non-firing replica.

I'd be happy if they did a cartridge conversion like they used to do with the Colt Army and Navy revolvers. That way we could have shells and use lead pellets.
