I've liked the look of these for as long as I can remember, and then one pops up on AGF just after I've cleared a few bits from my shed and I've got some available spends, took me about 30 seconds to decide I wanted it! Lol. Full strippable, nice weighty feel but balanced in the hand, good snappy blowback, 19 shot and surprisingly accurate for a C02 replica. Will give her a full strip, clean and lube when I get 5 minutes spare, but just wanted to get this 1 job done first. Was listed honestly with a bit of a scratch on the ejector port, but I can see past things like that and got some 2500 wet and dry and some 0000 wire wool and Autosol on it tonight, looking better already! Umarex hard case and foam to cut for an insert arriving tomorrow. Now, what grips should I go for? π€

The ejector port looks far better now that you've polished the paint off it. I did see that gun on the AGF and was tempted myself as I haven't got a modern version of the 1911, glad it went to a fellow member on here though

I like these grips and wouldn't get any other. My humble opinion

A lot like my Nighthawk. Yep, sure is the same gun but with different trades on it, even done to the bumper on the mag and the grips.

Yep, you're right but I suppose they had to do something to warrant the word ' Custom' in the 'Nighthawk Custom', what with that and the fact that it has a silver trigger instead of the standard black version. Either of them are nice guns though

Bit of a disappointing day. π Been out in my range with the Colt today and on the second mag the slide came back but didn't cock the hammer. I tried to cock it manually a couple of times, but the hammer won't stay back. I field stripped the slide from the frame and could hear a rattle from inside the frame. After a gently shake this little bugger dropped out, looks like part of the trigger sear has broken off π I'm a bit surprised, Umarex's quality has obviously dropped from what it used to be, I've a 20 year old PPK and it still works great. Spares availability is pretty much zero. If i could get anothet hammer assembly somewhere, how easy is it to tear down and replace? Wouldn't be quite so bad, but I just spent an hour and a half making a case insert for it!
