Hi all, I live in Finland but have a small collection of airsoft guns which have been in storage in the UK. These are constructed of ABS and spring operated. They're all boxed and almost like new. These were cheap at the time but I liked that fact that they all had the licensed makers marks. Here's an old photo as I unfortantely never had time to unwrap them on my last visit to the UK. Now I've not really been active in this field for many years so not familiar with new regulations. I'm not even familiar with some of the abbreviations being thrown around. I keep reading different things from "not worth it" to "just send it normal parcel post and don't tell anyone". Now, Finland has a strong sporting gun culture, but they're also very good at checking everything. I'm concerned that an M16 assault rifle in an x-ray will bring bad news. I gather that the main post office here in Finland won't touch it so it needs to be by courier - UPS? What about documentation too? If all this proves to complicated I'll have to sell them via here. There's certainly lots of nice metal stuff on sale here in Finland but also quite pricey. I always wanted to own an M16 full size replica and this Tokyo Marui M16A1 was quite good without breaking the bank. Again, apologies for the low resolution photo but you get the idea. I also have some single low res photos but don't see the need to share those here just now. Any advice is much appreciated!

Think it might prove very difficult. Most carriers won’t accept anything gun wise, be it airgun or airsoft even when sending to an address inside the U.K. unless you have an account with them, obviously you could not declare what it is, but when it comes to being flown it will most likely be scanned. Royal Mail & parcelforce will accept airguns going by sign for postage, but if you tell them at the post office what’s in the package you are often met with misinformation and less than helpful staff. Again not sure what the rules might say for leaving the U.K. My advice would be to contact your chosen carrier and ask, but I don’t hold out much hope. ABS spring guns won’t be much sought after on the airsoft sites unless very low prices unfortunately, the only spring airsoft guns that sell well are sniper rifles.

Truthfully it might be better to cut your losses and just sell them, after paying for delivery and then having them confiscated by customs officials might just be wasting even more cash. But like Doug said, check with your local delivery companies for clarification on the subject before doing anything else, as long as they are not illegal to own in your country I can't see it being too much of a problem though.

Thanks for the useful responses. Organising it from outside the UK makes things even harder so I'm probably going to go for the sell option.
Any idea on value?

Can you give more details of what you have, make etc of the pistols. The Marui M16 is obviously a good make, but people want either electric or gas blow backs for skirmishing, and collectors want 100% authenticity. Spring guns, unless highly tuned sniper rifles, don’t have much appeal unfortunately. But list what you have & we can try and advise.

Yes, seems things have moved on alot since I bought these about 15 years ago. Although all these are boxed, I still didn't manage to photograph them all when I took them out of storage. The best I can do is some more old photos and a few stock photos. In fact I was struggling to find any photos online of these old spring versions. I can't seem to add more than one photo so will have to do a a new post for each.

These next photos I found online and some might help identify the maker (M16 already identified).

M16 sling will not be included.
As metioned, I can't access these guns as I live abroad but was hoping to sell them as a job lot to a trustworthy buyer. I'm reluctant to go to an open website to sell these for obvious reasons. Also, any buyer would need to collect these from Bristol.
I'm not even sure if anyone would be interested in buying these from what you've said.

If anyone can identify the handgun makers that's great.
