This rig is the one discussed in the 'Bargains' section, I put a cheeky offer in to the chap over on BBS and he was happy with the deal. I managed to get it for £60 delivered, and it turned up today. I am proper chuffed with this, it is brand new never been worn by the look and feel of the leather. The colour tone is perfect for what I was looking for and I even like the rust effect on the buckle! There is some weight to it once the pistol and dummy shells are added, the dummy shells are really good I wasn't expecting the weight and detail. Made up with this one, just want to see if I can add another holster for the left side - the other one I own is too light a brown tone!

It looks great and I only wish it had been left handed.

Looks fantastic. A great deal there. A nice proper western high waist rig. It would not cater to a long barrel Colt though.

I was expecting you to put the Schofield in there...
I have no interest in Western (as you know) but I think it look fantastic. Not sure about the rusty buckle myself.
Out of interest, does the buckle on go at the back, with the ammo in front (ie reverse of normal belt)?

I want to find another holster of the same colour and style for the left side, I will make sure that is able to carry longer barrels. Question, would it be typical to have a left handed holster on the left side of the rig or a right handed holster for a right handed draw?

The Schofield wont fit in the holster, its a big old pistol!

Personally I’d go for cross-draw for the long barrels. I don’t mind mix and match so bring left handed with two holsters, I’m left hand cross draw on my right side with left hand normal left side. I also don’t mind using twin holster butt forward.

Just for fun I've added my other holster, which caters for the long Colts and the Schofield nicely - shame the colour is not similar

I have nothing that matches. And I seriously doubt cowboys worried much either.

That looks so much better than the seller's original pictures ! Well done buddy, it looks really good. I'd go for a cross draw holster for the longer barrelled Colt SAA, that way you've got your 'quick draw' on your right and 'deliberate' holster across your waist. You definitely got a bargain there James
