Finally the Last of the Mohicans is here.
1st impression (unboxing)
Dude, this is heavy metal... makes my VP9 feel like a toy..
Very nice paint, a pity it wears off so quickly (already got a scratch on the magazine)
Crispy slide sound and feel, smooth mag eject, nice feel in my big hands
Box is the same as the competition so seeing the size it would have with it, i said thank God i didn't take that one.
2nd impression (the magazine)
Here is where the pain started... 2 broken fingernails, no way to park the BB slider, 2-3 ejections of the slide, BB's all over the room.
This hell-made spring must have been crafted for something else
Must have an old mag, no way to lock it open like the Tanfoglio i've seen being mentioned.
So i went with a "Trust me, i'm an engineer" solution, works for now, and spring is getting a bit smoother after 4 reloads... (pic)
Having to take the whole screw out to insert the Co2 is also a thing i did not like, but hey, it's a 12+ years old model and i can't have it all..
3rd impression (shooting)
Almost heart attack. Since its 34 degrees outside i said i will just go to the balcony of the 1st floor and shoot my plates in the garden from there.
Cock, safety off, prep position, present position BANG! Gun went off as soon as i touched the trigger before i could aim at my target lol!
"This is not a VP9 you stupid..."
After the shock, aimed, fired three rounds on the plate, plate on the ground! I know it's hot, but this is no way near 100 m/s, the H&K has 125, never took a plate of the post.
Then i got a little trigger happy, 3 mags rapid fire, 3 and a half total, Co2 out. Man, what a trigger...
I suppose not letting the gun cool down between shots makes Co2 run out faster.
Blowback is strong, sound is loud, yes it almost feels like a real thing.
Sights need just a bit of adjustment, will do that after the heatwave leaves
Am I happy with my new gun? YES!
It's just the BB loading i have to do something about.
Thank you all for your advice, happy and safe shooting!
