Just want to check whether I can put pellets into a BB shell for these... Found 10 BB shells for £20 ish but pellets shells are £16 for 6.

I've put loads of pellets through my BB shells, the pellet just need seating slightly. Works great with the cowboy rifle.
I've read elsewhere that continual use of pellets may expand the rubber on the shells though and make them not so great for BBs. I could be wrong, there are more knowledgeable chaps on here who may be able to confirm or not.
Either way I only use pellets now so not too fussed about returning to BBs anyway

Yep, I only use pellets in all my western Colts and my Legends winchester BB Carts. I only use BB's in my semi auto firearms. Speaking of which, I had a good session today with my Soviet firearms.

I've never found a difference between the pellet and the bb shells apart from the colour and if I'm being honest I prefer the brass coloured bb shells to the silver pellet versions.
