Far be it from me to give "expert" advise, but IMHO, the CZ 75/Shadow 1/Shadow 2/ Gold Custom are among the most solid and well built replicas in my harem. Although the Tanfoglio is most accurate, it's a big heavy and long pistol, and fits nowhere as comfortable in hand as the Shadow 1/2. My quest for a Tanfoglio Limited proved fruitless, so when an opportunity arose for a second Gold Custom, had to have it. Took me 6 months before I found a spare mag for it however. The KWC Tac 75 mag I was able to come across fit perfectly. I believe this 22 round mag is universal to all these KWC built guns. As you can see, I mount a red dot whenever possible. The lower to center barrel axis, the better. A "bridge" works, as long as you stay within "site-in" range, due to its height. IMHO once again, some of the better triggers out there. All this coming from someone who doesn't compete, but appreciates the finer workmanship in these replicas as an avid collector. Thanks for the info, impressive collection! Im an RDS fan too. The shadows 1-2 look great and promising, but here in Greece, they are out of my price range. About RDS position, this white fat alu rail brick is the only thing i hate about the Tanfoglio Golden. The KWC 75 Competition has a much thinner, nicer, same color as the gun rail making, it more attractive to the eye and comfortable in targeting, i agree with "The lower to center barrel axis, the better."

Agreed. I like the look of it on the KWC 75 also. I believe they used the rail on the Gold Custom to try and replicate the exact gun used by Eric Grauffel ( 5 time IPSC world champ) 2007 version of his gun. The video shows 6mm, but we're talking 4.5 steel BB. Same gun. (BTW...All guns I showed are 4.5 steel BB). iefeld's suggestion of the Springfield 1911 Mil Spec is a good one also, but hard to mount any rds to it. Very accurate. The Limited Custom is on my "hit list", but very difficult to locate. It's all good though, locating parts and guns is all part of the fun in collecting these replicas.. . BTW......As you can see, these rails hold the C-More red dot perfectly. I lost my mind and bought the real deal C-More on the Gold pictured here ($250), but my second Gold sports a Chinese knock off ($50). It's an almost exact OEM copy, but knobs aren't as tactile, and dot isn't as crisp. Still does its job however.

I don’t like much bridges also but as I can’t fit an rds to my slide it’s the next best thing. Takes some getting used to, but that bright, beautiful, shinning red dot sure does make sighting so much simpler, especially for eyes that aren't what they used to be.....lol.

I’m thinking of running under barrel green lasers.

Link For Tanfoglio Mag: www.replicaairguns.us/kwc-tac-model-bb-pistol-magazineThe CZ 75, Shadow 1&2, Po9 are all made by KJ Works, not KWC, if you were referring to those pistols. Lovely collection by the way.

TerribleTuco, was about to ask you about the pro looking dot... Seen it on Eric's vid's. Man, it costs more than the gun it self... but passion is passion. For now i just have a cheap one from homedefence-24 that works fine on my HDR revolver, maybe one with some bigger lens surface will do better for speed. CaptDAR was looking for a metal rail for my H&K in euro stores, and luckily today i discovered the evike europe shop. Its airsoft only, BUT they had a nice rail bridge, so it's on the way to give my VP9 a new life UNIVERSAL RAIL - Swiss Arms
-About green dot... thought of it, but where i live and the garden i shoot in, is so green that i have to look even harder to see it than the red one on a sunny day... 1911's... Seen a lot of good ones out there, somehow not a big fan... and since i had the issue of the HK shooting terribly low left with the fixed sights, if no red dot, adjustable sights is a must

Doug : "The CZ 75, Shadow 1&2, Po9 are all made by KJ Works, not KWC, if you were referring to those pistols. Lovely collection by the way." Thanks for the compliment. When I was referring to KWC, I meant the Gold Custom / Custom Limited / KWC TAC 75. When it comes to the PO9 / CZ 75 / Shadow 1 & 2, I believe the airsoft version is indeed made by KJ Works, but the .177 steel BB is an ASG product. Now whether or not ASG manufactures the pistol itself, not sure about that.

ASG don’t make guns themselves, they are simply there to provide the actual manufacturer with the official license so they can have authentic trades, same as Umarex don’t actually make any guns. Between them, ASG & Umarex have got all the big name branding rights. I believe Umarex actually own Walther as well.

From what I understand, no matter who's name is on whatever gun (for the most part), they all come from either one of two large factories in Taiwan. I guess when it comes to air guns..... "Made in Taiwan"..... is actually a good thing.
