I remember when you first joined AGF and was all like,"I just need a gun or two for my instructional safety training courses" and now look at you ! Getting quite a collection going now ain't ya, lol. We did warn you that this hobby was very addictive, we weren't joking......

I am hoping I will keep (some of) this up when the ranges eventually open. Going off the 1077 with its almost 9lb trigger. Getting a (tiny) bit bored of my current collection... and looking to venture out a bit. I put in a too cheeky offer on a SAA, probably because deep down I didn't want it. I can find a use for an underlever however...

Seriously though if you do get a Winnie, you'll end up with a Colt SAA....you can't have one without the other

I doubt it Shaun. The underlever interests me because I have 2 already, and use it for Gallery Rifle. Cowboy shooting doesn't interest me one bit, although it does look rather impressive...

Based on what I "understand", shooting from hip, fanning etc. I didn't watch western growing up so have little interest in these types of guns / shooting style.
In fact, all I know about cowboy action shooting is from the North Cote Butt video. As I said very impressive.

Rifle yes. Revolver, not so much to be very honest. Could have bought a pre-loved SAA for £110 posted yesterday but put a low-ball offer in, probably on purpose because deep down I didn't really want one. When I do eventually retire like David, and have loads of time to catch up on Western movies, I might change my mind on this. Only another 23 years or so to go!

23 years? You will be lucky! They will have increased the retiring age again by then...

When you get a Colt SAA, a Schofield or Remington 1875 you will finally have a revolver worth showing.
