This is currently my all time favourite pistol, it is just so solid in the hand, really puts a big smile on my face. 😁 Shot this at 10m with a single hand hold, of course this is where I peaked... 😩 picture sharing

Feel free to throw up a thread in the Saloon section as that's the only place you can openly post, chat and put up pictures of those non-replica airguns, I just keep a tight rein on threads being posted outside of there for obvious reasons (we're a replica airgun forum after all).

I was only teasing Shaun, referencing my first (and I hope only!) wrist slap on here. I fully agree with your stance in this regard.

Bet they occasionally turn up at the air gun fairs that Pete (flatrajectory) attends.

A very nice looking piece of kit. Pardon my ignorance but what is it. It's a S&W 78G (.22 calibre), they did make a .177 calibre version too (79G), it's a gas powered 'replica' of the powder burning S&W 41 Target pistol. They were actually made by S&W at first until the powers that be pulled the plug on CO2 powered firearms, you can still get most of the consumable parts for them (seals, plugs, etc.).

I did have my hands on an early model 79G at the last Melbourne airgun fayre, original box, adjustable trigger, two power settings, shinier finish than on mine, just too much money...
