I am quite drawn to the style of the Beretta 8000/Cougar compact pistol, mainly because I like the look of the Gamo PT 80 revolvermatic, which has been around for years and almost has a classic status. Does anyone have any experience with the Gamo? It does seem to get a good write up from users in the States, but is it reliable, easy/difficult to repair, etc....

My boy had one, he loved the bloody thing but it broke after a year or so, the trigger broke (snapped clean in half) in use. Couldn't get replacement parts for it though.

I trust you stashed away all the useful bits in your parts bin! 😉 There’s a pt80 going cheep on bbs. Not interested if it's going cheep, I would want it to go BANG! 💥 The one on BBS is what has caught my attention. The seller doesn't claim to know anything about co2 pistols, which is probably code for "it's fcuked" but I might be wrong...
