Got the S/S Winchester the range this morning to test out the peep sight and the overall accuracy of the rifle. I tried three different pellets, the Econ II were the best, Gecos were okay, but the Accupells didn't live up to their name! Most of the shooting was rested against a frame, some on a rifle bench rest, but I also did some spray and pray! If it wasn't for the shot I dropped, that would have been a sub-half inch group.

Very good. My best accuracy is with JSB RS 7.33 4.52 and Falcon AC 7.33 4.52

Good shooting there Tex ! I'm glad that the peep sight is working well for you, a great modification for the rifle.

Mostly pleased with the peep sight, the apature is too big which leaves the front sight blade quite fuzzy, it could do with being a bit lower too as I was having to use a six-o'clock hold to get it to hit the bull. Very pleased with the accuracy potential of the rifle, I might push it out to 20m next time.

Really like that brushed stainless finish...very smart. Definitely my favourite version of that rifle. Wish Umarex had offered that as an option on the M29/629 pistols.

Between rain showers yesterday, had a good session at the Melbourne Marksmen field plinking session. Very pleased with how Walther Winchester performed with sufficient accuracy and power to operate and reset the nearest knock-down targets at around 15m. It was nice to let a few other people have a go with it and some of the other guns I had taken along.
