Very nice! I think the Tanfoglio Witness and the commemorative Colt are my favourites. đ

Thanks gents ! To be quite honest though, my favorite (KWC) 1911 is the "We The People" not pictured. Love the finish on that gun, and as an added bonus, no grip change needed.....lol.

Kinda cheated a bit here, and went from plastic to plastic, but wanted a pic rail on my Swiss Arms SSP. This aftermarket grip made by Recover, firmly attached (with the usual 1911 grip mod, Dremmel needed) using only 4 screws. Two are from the present screws that already are in use to mount the grips, 1 near the trigger guard, and 1 up front on the rail itself. As previously stated, mounts solid, and comes in various colors plus a "wrap around" version as well (Recover CC3H). Much better access to the trigger as compared to the cheaper trigger guard mount this replaced (see pic below). There is the tiniest void just right of the mag release button, but barely noticeable in the grand scheme of things...lol. Only one KWC (black) 1911 left to do, and waiting for the Cool Hand "dark ash" grips to come back into stock for that one......

Saw something very similar a few years back but from what I remember they were like a complete wraparound (from LHD side to the RHD side) system, these do look very 'Tacti-cool' though, always good to make your guns individual, I like them buddy.

I believe you're talking about the grip on the right HH. I was planning on installing them on the black Colt Commander, but went with the blackish wood grips. Perhaps I'll just hold onto them for a future endeavor....... (PS....I kinda like the "CC3P" version, because you can easily switch out the panel for a different color should you wish to change up the look of your pistol a bit )
