I thinks I made a mistake in never owning a pellet version. No you didn't David, I would love another DE but I'd rather have a full size mag, lock back on last shot and field strippable version over the Umarex pellet firing version. I still find myself contemplating getting one of the 6mm KWC DE every now and again, I love the DE but the pellet version left me a bit 'cold'.

Yes I do like my KWC. Certainly more authentic.

My DE was a bit different to yours then buddy It was 'blooming' loud ! It was very common for owners to receive a lot of attention on range days with it as it was so loud that other shooters would often say,"What the bloody hell is that !", lol. Okay my son back from uni fired it last night and apparently it is loud... So I'm going deaf

Bit more free time this weekend and so I downloaded a db app and had a little play. The measurements were all taken at the same distance from the gun DEagle 93.1db Colt SAA 92.8db S&W 686 92.1 So the Deagle is the loudest of the three I tried

I remember the DE being described as, "having a loud crack similar to a .22 LR." Don't know about that, but mine was certainly louder than any of my other pistols, save perhaps for my Crosman 2240.

Great bit of comparative data there, I would describe my Eagle as being satisfyingly loud.
