When I posted my Colt collection in response to the what did Santa bring post I had expected a few helpful suggestions along the lines of 'what you really need is a 1911 Colt to complete the layout' To my amazement no such suggestions came so I cannot now use my usual self justifying excuse of being lead astray by other members on this forum. Time to take responsibility for my own actions, so I am looking for a 1911 of WW1 or WW2 style preferably blow back and aged if possible. Whilst I am in this new responsible mode I will also be looking for a cartridge Cowboy Legends Winchester in the black. So anyone looking for a post Christmas/New Year clear out please let me know.

If you are wanting a 1911 it has to be a KWC blowback derived version Doug. They are the best and no doubt. I believe James (Doyley) might had a lovely WW2 version (Ltd Edition) that he might be persauded to move on.

Apologies Doug, I meant to follow this up but I went to the pub just after posting this and got a little bit tipsy. Subsequently I forgot I had posted this until now so apologies again.
I would be open to selling this but if I recall correctly I paid over the odds for it and I would be wanting to get my money back. I will see if I can track down what I paid for it and PM you with a price if that suits? Start there and see if you are interested and then I will need to test it etc.
ATB - James
