I often admired this pistol, finally picked one up this weekend from Leicestershire Airguns, a great looking gun, plus I had never had a 1911. I unboxed today and being the KWC body I assume as made in Taiwan, a quick field strip which I always do on a new gun showed it’s was completely dry inside, not a drop of oil in sight ! crikey, I would have expected a basic level of lubrication.
Now fully sorted, it’s a great pistol and functions well, solid feel and unlike the P226 has a solid slide. A great little buy (just trying to load the pics 🙄)

The KWC 1911s always seem to come completely bone dry, it's the very first thing you need to do with ANY KWC gun before you even think about firing anything through it. Congrats on the new gun though.....
