Been asked to make a moderator/cocking aid for one but I don't know the thread size and type. The owner suspects it's M14x0.75 LH but I am not able to measure it myself as he's a distance away and I don't know anyone that owns one.
Can anybody help please?

I have had one. Not sure if any moderator will quiet it down as most noise is from the plastic body resonating with the spring.
Nice rifle though and full power. Oh and quite easy to cock as standard due to the long barrel.

Should be easy enough to replicate from the few pictures I can find. The owner is quite capable of producing high quality 3d printed ones if we can find the thread size but he is a bit wary of their strength if used for cocking, so wants one made from billet alloy. It's a simple job, just need the thread size, not pointers to whats in someones brain cavity.

If he has a 3d printer, then it's a matter of trial and error. That's what I would have done. Shouldn't take long to print a screw thread. There are many moderator on the market anyway. Most have the same thread. I would suggest he Google it. 👍🏼

Unless it's 3D laser sintered metal, such a fine thread will not be strong enough from 3D printed polymers. It really will need to be machined from solid metal.

M14x0.75 LH sounds more to me like a standard airsoft M14x1 CCW.

Nice springers these. Wish I had kept mine. But quite fancy one of those new EKOL Stalingrad springers in .22 now.
