Pellet name: Webley VelociPell Pellet weight: 7.26gn Pellet size: 4.50mm Shape: Wadcutter Material: Lead Price: £4.19 at JSR I have used these previously with relatively good results, but settled on R10 for my 15m target work. Then I needed some plinking ammo as I bought some reactive targets to shoot at from shorter distance. I must add that they worked well in the SW 686, but for some reason doesn't work on my SA-10. This is from 7m rested: Couldn't believe what I was seeing, I gave it another go: And tried again at 5m: Very odd. I will give it another go with a brand new CO2, and also test it on my other guns.

Pellets and barrels, there's no rhyme or reason to it sometimes.
Personally I've never ever liked the Webley brand of pellets; shockingly bad performance, higher percentage of bad pellets (misformed, misshaped & damaged) than other manufacturers and ultimately over priced. Not quite as bad as Remington but not that far behind them.

The reason I bought them was it consistently made a ragged hole with the SW 686, although the hole with the R10 was smaller. Not really tried it with th SA10 (or at least I don't remember).
I'll give them a proper go in the next few days.
