I really like the look of this one. And build is really solid. The frame is solid (like a Springfield XDM) and it has internal hammer so cocking is smooth. Shooting is not bad. It has an internal hammerless design but its not as good as the GHK Glock 17s implementation as the trigger pull is pushing directly on the valve unlike in the GHK Glock which has a kind of release mechanism which then hits the valve. So with the Canik you have to be positive with your trigger press. Gas usage is not the best either. It also rattles a fair bit. Non of that bothers me in the slightest though as its well built and handles well. Other things to mention is they went the extra mile when trying to replicate this one. The takedown is also the same as the real steel in that the slide does not have to come all the way off the front of the frame. You pull the slide release catches, slide forward 15mm and then just remove the slide. Putting it back together in the reverse. I had a go at in filling the slide markings as the real steal has that done.

Great pics as usual. I have a new sniper rifle being upgraded at the dealers and should be with me later this week.

I have been tempted by the Canix, but photos I have seen on websites show the RMR plate looks poorly finished around the edges, yours looks o.k as far as I can tell.

Yeah no issues with the RMR plate on my copy. (Which I got from JD a good few months ago). I've not tried removing it. Read that you would still need an adapter that didn't exist yet.
I've got an RMR adapter plate for a S&W M&P9 Performance that I still need to get an RMR for. Plate came from Reapers on YouTube.
