I'm really looking forward to seeing it blued buddy, are you going to go for the liquid or cream blueing solution ? I've had better success with the tubes of Birchwood Casey blueing cream than the solution but neither make it go totally black, more like a very dark brown colour.

Andy, some alloy replicas do not take cold blue, some do. I always use Birchwood Casey Aluminium black on alloy gun parts.

Isn’t Paul Chell on AGF a bit of a blueing expert?

Finally finished the Browning Hi Power, The looped style hammer and short style safety i think are more in keeping with the later WW2 weapon. I decided to keep the lanyard loop off the later model purely because i liked the look of it lol I believe the Germans adopted the V style rear sight when they took over the factory in Belgium during WW2 deciding that the ladder style of rear sight was too much machining. second photo is of a real ww2 Hi Power. The photos of this really don't do it justice as my phone doesn't take very good pics .
