So, just having a browse at my next possible a/s pistol, when I saw that JD Airsoft have the polymer/abs version of the Cybergun Desert Eagle for sale at £89.99. Sounds very reasonable to me. Has anyone here owned one . ? Pete.

Never owned the plastic one but I do have the full metal Co2 version which runs on average at 400 fps.

Thanks David, very useful. The figures are excellent, even with .30g bb. I prefer .25 in most of my a/s guns anyway. Seriously considering one of these.
Peter.

I've not seen one or handled one but I can't help but feel that a fully polymer Desert Eagle my be a bit underwhelming. Some other versions in this post.

I also like to use 6mm aluminium bb and solid steel bb with this pistol.

Go for a steel one Pete 😉 Any excuse to get the pictures out for this one now 😂
Being serious though, I had the same one that David has but mine was the stainless version. If the innards are the same it was a belting pistol with great kickback

That is a great video David, and I do get it. My view is this though... the abs one is much cheaper. And with my arthritic wrist it is lighter too. But I will handle both in the shop and see. Thanks for the input chaps...... decisions , decisions. Or should I go for the W.E. Hi Cappa 4.3 ?? Peter.

I got into recurve bow archery really badly about 7 years ago. After first year with my local club I won the 'amateur' event at our yearly club competition. Shortly after that my boy came on his way to the world and I gave it up.
Still have some quite decent kit in my garage. No idea how I would go about selling it. I went back to airguns for my target sports itch when the lad was a bit older
