That looks so much better than plastic.....all you need now is the grip medallions fitted to them now though for that truly authentic look. I like the fact that you managed to get the heads of the grip screws to line up, kudos to you for that ! So I guess I'm not the only one with OCD gun tendencies, lol So come on ! spill the beans partner, where did you get them from ? and how much were they ?

Superb. The wood is striking against the black frame. Lovely purchase. Congratulations on becoming a US Marshal btw, this town is looking more and more like Tombstone every day! A good thing imo!

Looks like you've had the last set from them there David. They are very nice and I reckon not having to worry about the fettling is worth an extra tenner anyway!

Yep there are some good grips out there if you search. Etsy has quite a few to choose from too. These were from ebay though for a tenner a while back.

Wild Bill have you come across many that are pre-prepped for fitment on the KWC variants or have you had to go at them with a file generally?

It literally only takes 5 mins. Yeh I've Dremel'd a set but I wasnt happy with the job I did. It was good to see the images RobonTarget posted on AGF the other day of an official wooden set. Looks like you can leave a couple of MM on the bottom lip so the grips are still flush if looked at from the bottom. Just practise I guess, I've got another set here that need the same treatment

I wouldn't worry. I don't. It's a proper sweep it under the carpet job when I do mine
