Well, I’ve just fitted the Samoon kit to my GHK Glock (steel trigger support, steel barrel and hop-up, stronger recoil spring & guide, high pressure nozzle), and trying Green Gas and CO2 it’s made little to no difference to the velocity!!
It has made the blowback even more like the real thing and believe me, it was good to start with! Maybe that’s what it’s all about? Is it worth the £200 on top of the £370 for the gun?
Yes if you want to get rid of the very few zinc alloy bits on the gun and have a truly ’all steel’ Glock.
Yes if you want as near to the ‘real thing’ in terms of feel when shooting.
No if you’re after a power increase - about 300fps with .20 bb’s is all you’ll get with or without the kit.
Would I buy it again? Probably, just to have that last 10-15% of realism.
The GHK Glock is absolutely superb, if you handle it alongside a deactivated Glock you really can’t tell the difference if you don’t peek through the ejector port. The Samoon kit just makes it a little bit more special.
I’ll try to post some pics soon.

Replicas are all about realism, sometimes going the extra yard can make all the difference

You're quite right. My current circumstances mean there's not much time/opportunity for actual shooting right now, so the realism has become a bit of an obsession. Here's a pic of the parts in the kit. interesting that it's a steel barrel - something I've never come across before in an airsoft gun. image upload forums

Was it hard to fit, getting the nozzle out looks complicated compared to standard designs. No, very straightforward. You need to take off the 'C' clip at the back of the slide with a smallish fine bladed screwdriver then use a small punch or bar to press down the spring loaded pin on the underside of the slide that holds the extractor in. The pin is captive so it doesn't ping out. Once you've pushed the extractor out from inside the slide the nozzle comes straight out. Are you tempted?

I quite fancy the idea, suppose once fitted you can swap between the Co2 mag and the standard gas mag as takes your fancy.

Indeed. It certainly makes the blowback even more impressive which is hard to believe. Also the bang is a bit louder with CO2. The lack of velocity increase may need some further investigation. You would imagine that replacing 150psi Green Gas with 800psi CO2 would have some effect. My CO2 Airsoft Mini-Uzi runs at 450fps! I haven't tried different weights of bb in the Glock yet - that could make a difference.
