Mr Remington’s New Whistle
There’s been a season of discontent here at la casa fun shootin’ - ever since I started cavorting with Mrs Glock in her shiny black leather old Mr Remington has been complaining about not being treated to anything other than a few cheap bbs and the odd gas depository. Never one to ignore an upset, especially one that can take an eye out, I decided to treat him, and treat him I did, to a sumptuous new holster, the Galco Fletch 1911 5” right hand draw, in tan.
Wonderful American gunslinging memorabilia
I love the stuff that comes with imported gun-gear from the USA. This time it's a nice certificate proudly telling me that animals died to further my gun fetish and a nice NRA coupon I'd probably go to prison for if I attempted to join.
Beautiful tailoring
A better cut than the suit I wore at my last wedding.
Cosy as a bug in a rug, the holster looks to be better quality than the quilt I throw over my Mrs at night.
Lovely leather contours accentuating the Remington’s beautiful lines, pretty as a Miss World bikini contest, minus the flour throwing and mass rioting.
Rear end tucked away nice and tight with a retention snap stronger than Brandon Routh’s Superman but not as strong as Christophers Reeves’ because he was my childhood Superman and he’s never been top-trumped, not even by Linda Carter’s Wonder Woman cleavage, satin tights and star spangled silky knickers.
Fact time!
I believe the leather is steer hide, will take a belt size 1.75” wide, will fit Kimber, Para and Springfield, is sized for 5” 1911, and looks ruddy lovely. That last bit isn’t in the official specs, but I think it’s lovely so I’m including it in mine.
Getting a grip
I’m not sure which grips I prefer, usually I like my knickers and bra to match but I’ll leave that up to my fellow gunslingers to decide this time.
… and so I don’t feel left out;
I’ve treated myself to a new avatar! It’s 1911 February. Woo!
A 'Streets of San Francisco' type epilogue:
Mr Remington looks very smart in his Sunday best and I’m now considering buying a small glass display case to have him & Mrs Glock side by side showing off their leather finery. The wife isn’t keen on gun displays at home so I’ll probably have to set it up when she’s out.
… I’m … sure … she’ll come around to the … idea :/
